Born in Spain in 1951, Del Weber learned various weaving techniques from his mother and has continued to evolve as an artist over the past 30 years. Weber incorporates various knotting and weaving techniques with found stones creating a unique form of sculpture. Del derives his knotting techniques from traditional Japanese and Native American basketry, wicker furniture, loom weaving, fly-tying and nautical knotting.
